dAWN Creations aka dAWN is an Oldskool demo group created by some really oldskool guys :) in the beginning of March 2007.

How did dAWN got born ?
DeXtr0, that's me, (male, born in 1972 in Belgium) was very impressed by the OldSkool DemoMaker (OSDM) which I found by browsing on the internet for the term "OldSkool".
I got so curious about it and I registerd myself on there forum (http://forum.deltaforceteam.de/). After a period of playing around with OSDM and chatting around on the board, I contacted the coder (Peace).
=> I wanted to know in which language he wrote this beautiful tool.

He told me it was PureBasic !

I didn't believed my eyes. PureBasic ?? Wtf ? Does Basic still exists ? I didn't know it and couldn't believe it. I had to see it with my own eyes and guess what....
I browsed around on the internet and found a lot of information about PureBasic and I even downloaded a trial version.
After that I was sold.
All my memories came back and reminded me of the good old C64 times with those impressive copy-parties

I was 100% sure that I wanted to start coding demo's/intro's again ( Thanks Peace :) ) I already took some notes for basic routines as logo effects, copperbars etc... 
However, I was also pretty sure that I did not have enough time to code things all by myself so I contacted some other guys that where also on the OSDM forum.

These conversations resulted in "hmi222" and "whitewolf" joining the allied forces
Both guys are excellent in there work and liked my idea to start an OldSkool demo group. Yes, dAWN got born...

During coding we noticed that we had "lack of experience" and I contacted another guy on the PureBasic forum.
The magical DrShreK got found who joined us aswell. He has a lot of PureBasic experience and he already coded some great routines for us but also games. (Check out the download forum).
